※Da-Hu (大虎) The Lord of South Region (南霸王)

Stray cats can be so friendly and cute when there are people looking after them. Since there some cat-loving ladies are taking care of those stray cats around us in my neighborhood, they do a great job to keep those cats neat and easy going. There are 2 big male cats ruling my neighborhood, which are the lord of north region is Da-Huang (大黃), which means big yellow in Chinese. And the lord of south region is Da-Hu (大虎), which means big tiger in Chinese. After I knew where Da-Hu lives, it's easier for me to document his whereabouts than others.

※一週最愛Favorite of the week

Da-Hu (大虎) is a very friendly stray cat which had been neutered and set free years ago, one of the successful TNR case in my neighborhood.

He is so friendly it's hard for me to take a good close-up picture of him.

He had been in a bad mood for a few days last week, due to the bad weather in Taipei I guess.

Here is where he sleeps, day and night.

He has this funny face and nice personality. He got caught by animal control in Taipei twice, every time when he got caught in there, they put him in "willing to be adopted" group, it's rare a stray cat can be as friendly as Da-Hu.

Lazy funny Da-Hu.

Da-Hu despises my cat food because he always gets better food from those cat-loving ladies in the neighborhood.

Take a good look at his left ear. Because we think "left means male and right means female", the veterinaries developed a way to distinguish cat's gender by which ear has been marked in Taipei. So where people see Da-Hu on the street, they would know this cat is a He and has been neutered.

Finally he opened his eyes and take a look at me...

Then he yawned and suggested I should leave him alone now.

Today was a nice sunny day and Da-Hu seems happier.

He is such a guard less stray cat.

Once I got closer, he just stretched out and tried to catch my attention.

Then he would roll over on the wall on second level, and it was kind of scary.

I tried to calm him down by stay away from him, hopefully he will enjoy the day as much as I will, what a lovely day.
